The Department of Counseling was established in 1998, with the admission of undergraduate students with regard to the complexities of social conditions and the increasing problems and hardships of today's human life. To provide specialized counseling services to different strata and sects of society is of its primary goals. And in 2012, the department stated its graduate programs of family and education counseling (school counseling). In addition, in 2016, two more subfields of career and rehabilitation counseling were added to graduate programs.
