Saleh Rahimi

Biography

Saleh Rahimi holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language from the University of Kurdistan and a Master’s in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Tehran. He received his PhD in the same field from Shahid Chamran University in the winter of 2014. He began his official collaboration with Razi University in February 2014 and is now an Associate Professor in the Department of Knowledge and Information Science at the Faculty of Social Sciences. He has taught several courses to undergraduate students so far, including Knowledge Management, Designing Websites, Information Literacy, Introduction to Communicology, and Islamic Resources. Also, the courses he has been teaching to graduate students include Information Storage and Retrieval, Library and Information Society, Scientific Communications, and Information Databases. His main research interests are scientometrics, knowledge management and information literacy. His single-authored papers and joint studies with the graduate students under his supervision have been published in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
